1. Freeze the touchpad while typing on the laptop: It is a nuisance when you are typing fast on a laptop you accidently press the touchpad and the curser moves to another place resulting in errors in the script you have typed. Here are two tiny utilities you can use:

Touchpad blocker - A small utility that blocks the touchpad for a predefined short period in milli seconds while pressing the keys. The delay can be predefined with this tool and can be enabled/disabled if needed with shortcut keys if needed. However this utilty should work well without any tweak in settings.

Touchfreeze -

This is a still tinier utility which freezes the touchpad and is simple to use with no user settings required and simple to use. A very simple utility but effective.
